José Padilha’s “7 Days in Entebbe” to Premiere in Competition at Berlinale

Director José Padilha’s latest film is the gripping thriller 7 Days in Entebbe, starring Rosamund Pike and Daniel Brühl. Inspired by the true events of the 1976 hijacking of an Air France flight en route from Tel Aviv to Paris, 7 Days in Entebbe depicts the most daring rescue mission ever attempted. Written by Gregory Burke and also starring Eddie Marsan, Ben Schnetzer, Lior Ashkenazi and Denis Ménochet, the film will be will premiere in competition at the Berlinale International Film Festival in February before being released by Focus Features on March 16.
