HBO has released the first image from Paolo Sorrentino’s “The New Pope,” the limited eight-episode follow-up season to his anthology series “The Young Pope.”

“The New Pope” stars Jude Law and John Malkovich and is written by Sorrentino with co-scribe Umberto Contarello.
