Jose Padilha’s searing Netflix original “Narcos,” which tells the story of Pablo Escobar’s infamous Medellin drug cartel, has picked up a Golden Globe nomination for Best Television Series – Drama.
The show has picked up a massive and devoted following since it debuted in August of this year, and was recently renewed a second season. The show’s star Wagner Moura also picked up a nomination for Best Actor in a Television Series for his role as Pablo Escobar.
